Detailed Description:
I first spotted it towards the east coming from myrtle beach direction.
observed as it silently crossed the sky from the east to west --
i'm guessing it traveled 50-70 miles on video. three unusual things i noticed 1) totally silent
2) as it passed,
the lights never dimed or vanished like an airplane's should once it passes i did see a flashing light at times
3) towards the end of the video the object flips from horizontal to vertical. i did drop the camera (phone) 2 times.
The second video shows it until i dropped the camera yet again and that was it. i don't know what it was, but it was unlike anything i've ever seen in the night sky.
I shot it the best i could--sorry for all the shakes!
i'm a u.S. navy vet. as aircrew i ran various electronic sensors aboard a p3 orion aircraft.
