The Royal Norwegian Air Force send 5 Lockheed F-35 Lightning II fighter planes to train along the Dutch and Belgians during the WIC (Weapons Instuctor Course) training held at Leeuwarden Air Base at the moment.

The Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) 2021 has officially started. In almost 6
months, 24 students from the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway are trained to
weapons instructor. For the first time not only take pilots, but also
officers from other service subjects participate in the university-level course.
The training will run until Friday 22 October and will take place on and from
Leeuwarden Air Base.
