WATCH ???? | AFFC teamed up with Salvation Army ❤️
Earlier this year, the #AusAirForce Football Club travelled to Melbourne to compete in the annual ADF AFL Inter-Service Carnival.
During this competition, AFFC dedicated part of their downtime to volunteer with local community organisations including the @SalvArmyAUS.
The #AusAirForce Men’s and Women’s teams spent Friday 17 March volunteering at the Magpies Nest Cafe, run by the Salvation Army.
The Cafe offers free breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as support to anyone in the Melbourne community who needs a meal or their help.
AFFC and Port Adelaide AFLW athlete Flight Sergeant Maria Moloney has been attending the ADF Carnival since 2018.
The opportunity to engage with the community whilst playing footy has driven her passion for the carnival each year.
