One thing we love about living in Durango (if only temporarily) is that we feel more connected with other communities and points of view, including those of the Native American community. While it was a bit challenging this time around due to the pandemic, checking out the latest Fort Lewis College exhibit at the Center for Southwest Studies was at the top of our list. The Pivot Skateboard Deck Art Exhibit included over 114 decks by different Native American/Indigenous artists providing insight into the contemporary native art landscape.
