Long story short:
Norway is a country rich in history and unique facts. From its human habitation dating back to 9000 BC, to the Viking Age known for their seafaring and colonization, to the Arts Council Norway which acquires 1000 copies of a new book for libraries after quality control. Norway's oil fund is estimated to be worth over $1 trillion, with the government only spending 3% annually. The Laerdal Tunnel is the world's longest road tunnel and the income and wealth of its citizens is a matter of public record. Oslo is diverse, with 30% of its population being immigrants, and Pakistanis being the largest minority group. Norway's coastline is extremely long but its exact length is unknown due to the fractal nature of coastlines. The Halden jail is high-security but has a welcoming atmosphere and its guards and inmates form a large family. The phrase "Texas" is slang for "crazy" in Norway, and the country has a unique concept called "Slow TV."
