British Forces Gibraltar personnel have held a parade, led by The Royal Gibraltar Regiment, to celebrate King Charles' first official birthday since he became monarch.
The event is partly modelled on the Trooping the Colour at Horse Guards in London, but because of the size and confines of Grand Casemates Square, Colours are not 'trooped'.
Trooping the Colour – the annual ceremonial celebration of the current British monarch's birthday – is the highlight of the British military's ceremonial calendar.
