The Royal Norwegian Navy Band, Den Kongliege Norske Marine Musikken supporting the Changing of the Guard parade (Vaktparade) in Oslo on Friday 14th April 2023. The guard parades take place in Oslo every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during the summer months and this was the 2nd parade of the year where they lead members of 2 Gardekompani of His Majesty's King's Guard from Akershus Fortress along Karl Johan Gate in the centre of Oslo to the Royal Palace where His Majesty the King was in residence!

The March 'Mot Ljusare Tider' literally translates as "To Brighter Days" which is very fitting considering it is just the second guard parade of 2023 after the winter months where there has been no musical support.

The changing of the Guard in Oslo takes place on Wednesdays, Thursday’s and Fridays during the summer months. This one was the 2nd ‘Vaktparade’ of 2023.
