For the first time in 2021 I decided to do spend some hours at Zurich Airport for plane spotting, and despite the rather limited traffic these days I caught some interesting airplanes. Particularly interesting was the fact that heavy aircraft are quite present at the moment. Well, good for the spotters I guess. But the most interesting phenomena during this noon was of natural source. As predicted my weather forecast a cloud of sand dust originating from the Sahara desert has reached Switzerland during exactly these hours when I was spotting, leading to some unusual color in the footage. It was quite cool to see how this effect intensified with time. All in all I'm quite happy with the recorded scenes, especially due to the fact that my camera work is still quite ok considering my inactiveness over the past months. I hope you enjoy!
