Hiking Oahu: 27 Nov 2020 Began at Helemano military community perimeter gate and drove 5+miles via FWD jeep to trailhead. Nice stroll through meandering mountain forests and entire valleys of Ohia. Could spot the Poamoho Stream far below and even evidence of a waterfall or two. At the summit we were immersed in a windswept and cloudy forest. Found the Poamoho Hikers cabin along the KST and grateful to get out of the wind. No rain despite all the wind & clouds.
