We have spoken to a British Army veteran who is about to head to Ukraine.

Shane will initially take medical supplies, but says he is ready and willing to fight.

The Defence Secretary has urged Britons not to travel to Ukraine to join the fighting and the Prime Minister said the UK is not actively supporting volunteers.
