A church service was held to mark the 95th anniversary of the installation of the Scottish National War Memorial in Edinburgh.
Members of the Armed Forces and military community came together for a service at Edinburgh Castle to commemorate the fallen from the Great War.
The Scottish National War Memorial was built to create a focal point for people in the country to pay their respects.
The anniversary also coincided with the 79th anniversary of the D-Day Landings – where many from Scotland fought and gave their lives.
