Have you ever tried to fly Mach 10 (max speed) at 275,000 ft (max altitude) and then go straight down? In this video, after reaching Mach 10 and max altitude, I descend as fast as possible, aiming the nose straight down. In order to do so, I needed to decrease thrust, otherwise, the power would help the aircraft maintain altitude. Once I got in the proper nose down configuration, I used full afterburner to increase my speed as fast as possible. I lost altitude so fast! I was able to reach -400,000 VS before the aircraft became damaged.
