NATO is Preparing 550 F-35 Fighter Jets in Europe
In comparison to last year, before to the Russian invasion, when a fleet of 450 Lockheed Martin aircraft was anticipated, the forecast is more optimistic. Compared to the same NATO's prediction from the previous year, there are an estimated 100 more aircraft. The evaluation is timed to coincide with the USAF beginning to place more emphasis on the F-35 in its strategy, having dispatched six fighter jets to Poland just before the invasion of Ukraine, as well as with more nations now purchasing the aircraft.
