The Norwegian government has decided to purchase a new maritime helicopter, with the first deliveries to be made as soon as 2025. This will strengthen the national sovereignty, readiness and presence of the Armed Forces in the northern region. The Norwegian government has selected the American Sikorsky MH-60 Seahawk utility maritime helicopter as its new maritime helicopter capacity.
