The head of the Armed Forces has paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, saying Her Majesty "understood better than most the burdens and the glory of a life in uniform".
Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, said the relationship between the Queen and the military was "deeply personal".
