Rare Wartime Colour Footage of RAF Exeter.
During World War Two RAF Exeter became home to many fighter squadrons and among these were the Czech Airmen who formed 310 Squadron flying Spitfire MK Vb.
Along with 307 Polish Squadron and 312 Czech Squadron they flew against German attacks and migrated around the South West flying from RAF Bolt Head, RAF Harrowbeer and RAF Predannack.
They were often directed by Radar Stations at RAF Exminster, RAF Hope Cove and RAF Bolt Tail
