The leading news of the day; Russia Brings Five Large Landing Ships Into Black Sea!

A flotilla of five huge landing ships from Russia's three fleets has now set sail towards the Black Sea.
Four big landing ships are anchored near the Minna Stinka dock in the South Bay, the main branch of Sevastopol Bay.
Project 1171 Tapir landing ships are seen in the foreground. The Black Sea Fleet possessed three such ships, one of which, the Saratov, was destroyed at the port of Berdiansk by a Ukrainian missile. The Orsk and Nikolay Filchenkov are the other two.

The Minna Stinka wharf also houses two Project 775 big landing ships. The Tsezar Kunikov, Novocherkassk, Yamal, and Azov are all part of the Black Sea Fleet.

The Novocherkassk and Azov are now being repaired in Kilen-13th Bukhta's shipyard.
