A Russian fighter jet has collided with a US unmanned aircraft in international airspace over the Black Sea, causing it to crash. Ukraine’s Southern Command claims Russian proxies in occupied parts of Kherson Oblast are preparing to leave. A battalion commander in the 46th Air Assault Brigade has said that Ukraine's army is not strong enough for a spring offensive.

Meanwhile, the German military is suffering from a greater shortage of weapons and equipment than before the invasion of Ukraine. Putin claims Nord Stream blasts had been carried out on a "state level”, dismissing claims of sabotage by Ukrainian partisans. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has said that Warsaw could give Ukraine MiG fighter jets in the coming 4-6 weeks. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is eyeing US presidency, says the conflict in Ukraine is not a vital US national interest.
