Good evening. It's 9:00 PM here in South Korea. Thank you for joining us on Arirang News.
Sudan is where we begin tonight.
The clashes between Sudan's rival military factions have left at least 330 people dead and more than 3 thousand injured.
Many countries are speeding up evacuation efforts for their citizens, that includes South Korea, dispatching military aircraft and troops to the African nation.
Kim Mok-yeon leads our coverage tonight.

The South Korean government has dispatched a C-130J military transport aircraft and dozens of military personnel to help with the evacuation of Korean nationals in war-torn Sudan.
It's been said that a total of 26 Koreans are in the African country, including one public official.
Seoul’s defense ministry said that the plane, carrying 50 military personnel, including security and medical staff departed on Friday afternoon.
The ministry also said that the aircraft and troops will be on standby in a U.S. military base in neighboring Djibouti as the airport in the capital Khartoum is closed.
Seoul’s foreign ministry says it decided to raise the travel alert for Sudan to Level 4, the highest in the government`s four-tier travel advisory system.
Other countries have also begun their evacuation processes, with Japan announcing it would send its Self-Defense Forces to retrieve 60 Japanese nationals.
The U.S. Defense Department also said it was deploying what it called "additional capabilities" near to Sudan to secure the U.S. Embassy in the country and assist with a potential evacuation.
Sudan’s army also said that 177 Egyptian soldiers who had been trapped in the country were safely evacuated on Thursday.
Fighting between Sudan's regular army and paramilitary forces called the Rapid Support Forces erupted on April 15th, during negotiations for a transition to a civilian democracy.
With the main question being, 'Who would be subordinate to who under the new hierarchy?'
There had been hopes among the international community for a ceasefire marking the end of Ramadan on Friday, but despite a related announcement from the RSF, clashes continued Friday north of the capital – and there has been no confirmation of a ceasefire by its rival Sudan Armed Forces.

As of Friday, the nearly week-long battle has resulted in the loss of at least 330 lives and caused thousands of people to be injured.
