Companies from the Czech Republic to invest in the Serbian military industry and what would be the result of that cooperation?
During the recent visit of the Czech President, the outgoing President of the Czech Republic Zeman and the President of Serbia agreed on cooperation in the military industry.
As they stated, there are Czech companies that want additional investment in the dedicated industry of Serbia, and cooperation in that sphere of economic cooperation between the two countries has been announced.
As the President of Serbia pointed out on that occasion: "Serbian dedicated industry will have many new investments, but also many changes so that they can sell weapons." Serbia does not sell weapons to Ukraine or Russia, but it will sell to everyone else. What the military industry of the Czech Republic is best known for is its aviation industry that designed and mass produced the L-39 "Albatross" jet fighter jet that was produced for the entire Warsaw Pact, which enabled its production in 2900 copies. And what does the Czech jet training-combat plane have to do with Serbia owning its domestic jet training-combat plane G-4 "Supergaleb"? Modern avionics, a stronger engine and the use of guided weapons can be provided by the Czechs from the modernization program of their training-combat aircraft L-39 "Albatross", which would greatly shorten the time until the modernization of the Serbian G-4 "Supergaleb" begins, as well as the period of its modernization itself.
