'Sudan Conflict: First Flight Evacuating British Nationals Arrives in Cyprus'
The first Royal Air Force flight to evacuate British nationals from Sudan landed in Cyprus on Tuesday.
A UK military aircraft took off from the country amid the Foreign Office urging Brits to head to the north of Khartoum, a change of advice that was originally given.
From Cyprus, flights will be arranged for them to be flown back to the UK on charter planes.
UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said there will be “many more flights” happening this evening and on Wednesday to continue the rescue mission.
