Sudan Crisis: Over 2,500 Indians evacuated from conflict-ridden Sudan under Operation Kaveri. In the latest batch of evacuees, a flight carrying 186 stranded Indians lands in Kochi. Rescued Indians are currently being quarantined free of charge as they were not vaccinated against yellow fever, the Union health ministry informed. The Ministry of Health is working in close collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs under Operation Kaveri. Necessary quarantine facilities are being arranged at transit junctures in mission mode for the incoming passengers, the ministry said. Watch!
