The Taliban continues to tighten its grip over Afghanistan following U.S. troop withdrawal.
Speaking to Sputnik News on Thursday, its spokesman said the group has killed 34 members of resistance forces in northern Panjshir province and has seized 11 checkpoints.
Meanwhile,... a Qatari technical team is working to re-open the Kabul airport as soon as possible.
Domestic flights will resume Friday while international flights will take longer.
Qatar's Foreign Minister said during a press conference, they're working very hard to bring some good news, hopefully in the next few days.
