The Russian invasion of Ukraine has impacted the geopolitical landscape and brought upon fundamental shifts in international relations. The Arctic region has been impacted, with Arctic states rethinking their participation in Arctic institutions and exploring ways to engage with or without an aggressive and expansionist Russia.

This online conference will bring together experts to discuss the political, military and economic consequences of the invasion on the Arctic region. It will also explore the immediate future of the region and weigh in the debates and dilemmas that Arctic states are confronted to as they are adapting to a fast-changing world order.

This conference is held online, in English and all time are in Eastern Time. This event is organised by the Centre for International Policy Studies, the Observatory on Politics and Security in the Arctic and the North American and Arctic Defence and Security Network.
