The British Army's Combined Arms Tactical Trainer allows armoured troops to hone their combat skills in the virtual world.
Its suite of simulators can immerse soldiers into a virtual battlefield to provide critical mission readiness training to British Army forces and has trained 250,000 troops.
This year the facility, at Warminster in Wiltshire, celebrates its 20th birthday and Forces News has been given a rare glimpse inside.
The Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (CATT), based in Sennelager, Germany, as well as at the Land Warfare Centre in Warminster, can accommodate combined arms training for ground, air and logistics missions at company, battlegroup and brigade levels.
