For more than 100 years, a small factory in South Wales has been saving the lives of soldiers, sailors and airmen, through the magic of parachutes.

At the IrvinGQ factory, based in Bridgend, the process is still almost entirely done by humans using scissors and traditional sewing machines.
Forces News was given the opportunity to look inside and discover the secrets of the parachute.
