The Strongest France's MAMBA Missile & Italian's Fighter Jets Arrive in Romania

Fighter planes and air defense systems from the French and Italian Air Forces are securing the skies over Romania. The SAMP/T Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) system, also known as the "MAMBA" system, was deployed in May of this year by the French Air and Space Force. Hundreds of kilometers away, its Aster 30 missile can intercept missiles and aircraft. The MAMBA system successfully repelled mock attacks by aircraft from Spain, Turkey, and the United States at the end of November. Alongside the Romanian Air Force, an Italian Air Force squadron of Eurofighter Typhoon planes is securing the skies. In late November, the Italian Air Force took over operations at Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base from the Royal Canadian Air Force.
