After failing to capture Kyiv in the initial stages of the war, Kremlin is reportedly considering a second assault on Ukraine’s capital. Some analysts claim, Putin may relaunch an attack on Kyiv once he achieves his goals in Donbas. Putin has been furious about the West supplying long range weapons to Ukraine. Putin is wary that Ukraine will use the weapons to target Russian territory. Russia had also fired five X-22 missiles at Kyiv aimed at Western military supplies for Ukraine on June 5.
