This is the eighth video in a new video build series featuring the 1/48 Mini Base SU-33 Flanker D Russian plastic model kit.

In this part I prime the jet. Create a shadow coat for pre-shading and then put down the first camo color - the grey. I also talk briefly about my airbrush set up and the equipment and Procon airbrushes I use.

We will mask and spray the remaining two blue camo colors next time in part 9.
