22 killed in Ukraine military plane crash

(26 Sep 2020) Ukrainian officials expressed their condolences to the families of those who died when a military plane crashed on Friday.  
The plane was carrying students from an aviation school when it burst into flames while landing, killing 22 people.
''Everyone who was inside died,'' said Anatoliy Torianyk, deputy head of Ukraine's state emergency service.
The An-26 airfract crashed while landing at the airport in Chuhuiv, about 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital Kyiv.
In addition to the 22 people who died, two others were seriously injured and four people were missing.
Reports said that the plane had a military crew and that most of those aboard were students at an aviation university run by the defense ministry.
There were no immediate indications of what caused the crash.
