Blue Angels 2022 - Five Ship Practice and Fat Albert Flybys! - Ellsworth AFB Airshow 2022

The US Navy Blue Angels perform during the Friday practice airshow at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, South Dakota. Two of the Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornets were in for maintenance so the team flew tail numbers 1-3-7-4-2. The takeoffs were modified so that the solos could do their 'circles' familiarization flybys prior to starting the routine.

As the jets shut down, The team's C-130J Super Hercules known as "Fat Albert" returned with spare parts and performed their own familiarization flybys prior to landing.
