This is a tutorial in Microsoft Flight Simulator (FS2020) showing you how to fly a tricky NDB Approach using the G1000 Nxi. We will not set this up in the GPS and will therefore have to fly it with conventional NAVAIDs and needles. This will use a VOR & NDB for tracking and a DME distance. This is Sparrevohn Airport in Alaska, with lots of mountains and high terrain to avoid.
We will be flying with using the ADF (Automatic Direction Finder) and DME from an nearby VOR/DME station.
This is a challenge for even the most seasoned instrument pilot.
