Week 1. Using Gun Safety Rule 1 as guiding principle for creating a safe space to practice mindfulness meditation.
Two sides of the central nervous system are
1. Sympathetic ( fight, flight, freeze)
2. Para-Sympathetic (rest,relax, recover)
As a Veteran you already know this about Gun safety but you may not have ever realized how it relates to mindfulness.
As a non military person you may know this about mindfulness but did you know this about marksmanship?

1. Where do I feel most comfortable in my house
2. Why do I feel most comfortable in that place.
3. Is there a way to make the place feel even more safe and comfortable
