India: 10 killed after Indian military plane crashes in Delhi

A military plane came down in Delhi’s Dwarka area on Tuesday, killing all ten people on board. The victims of the crash are believed to be paramilitary technicians who were on an assignment, on route to the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand.

Emergency services rushed to the scene after the plane came down shortly after take-off from Indira Gandhi International airport.

The incident has consequently led to all flights from the New Delhi airport being temporarily suspended.
