Innoflight Technology designs and manufactures commercial UAV solutions including aircraft, payload integrations, custom autopilots, servos, and ground control stations.

Previously the engineers at Innoflight Technology were experiencing excess part wastage due to high MOQ’s and lead times. Since introducing Markforged composite printing to their workflow they have been able to conduct rapid R&D testing that results in minimal part wastage, and produces high quality, strong, end-use parts.

“It wouldn’t have been effective to make it out of aluminium due to the shape of it. Printing it on the Markforged allowed us to change the design and test the part. During the testing we realised that the finish was good, the part was strong and we didn’t need to go any further with how it would be manufactured.”
