The process to join the military as a whole and more specifically the Air National Guard will vary in length for each person. There can be many hurdles to overcome in order to enlist. This video will give you some great tips to prepare yourself for your first meeting with a recruiter so that the process can go as smooth as possible.

Tips:
1. Do your research
2. Gather Your Documents (Birth Certificate, Driver’s License and Social Security Card at a minimum)
3. Be prepared to talk about your past medical history, drug use and any run ins with Law Enforcement
4. Write down any questions you have and bring them with you to the meeting
5. Understand the process for joining
