http://www.euronews.com/ A military plane has crashed in southern Kazakhstan killing all 27 people on board, according to senior Kazakh officials.

A local TV channel said the aircraft was descending near the city of Shymkent on a flight from Astana.

It reported that the Antonov An-72 crashed in bad weather from about 800 metres.

The KNB security service said the commander of Kazakhstan's border guards was on the flight.
