At least one person has been reported dead after a powerful earthquake hit southwest Mexico, as seen in Acapulco de Juarez on Tuesday.
Vehicles could be seen crushed beneath rubble fallen from the Emporio Acapulco hotel roof, with similar debris littering nearby roads.
The 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck 4km (2.5 miles) north-east from Los Órganos de San Agustín, according to The United States Geological Survey.
The Federal Electricity Commission estimated that around 1.6 million customers lost power due to the quake, in Mexico City and throughout four states.
