Mock WWII fighter plane crashes into Los Angeles-area freeway

A small vintage plane with WWII-era German air force markings burst into flames after crashing into a California freeway. The only occupant was safely removed before fire consumed much of the aircraft. The plane belonged to the group, which performs air shows and flies in formation over parades, memorial services and events commemorating veterans. The crash shut down the Agoura Hills freeway in both directions but no injuries were reported or any cars involved.
