Ukraine’s repeated requests for capable ground-based air defense systems have borne fruit.

The latest $820 US military assistance package for Ukraine that has been announced includes two NASAMS mid-to-long range advanced air defense systems

NASAMS is built by U.S's Raytheon Corporation and Norway’s Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace.
