This webinar presents some of the fundamentals of groundwater and surface water contamination due to firefighting foams that are composed of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), which contain Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). PFAS are a group of man-made chemicals that include PFOA and PFOS, and which have been referred to as "Forever Chemicals" because of their persistence in the environment.
