The S-400, Buk-M2 and Pantsir-S anti-aircraft systems, as well as the Su-30SM fighters, successfully repelled a massive missile and air strike at the Ashuluk training ground during the Kavkaz-2020 command and control squadron. In the episode, about 20 different aircraft were involved, which were supposed to overcome air defense systems and conditionally destroy radar stations, positions of anti-aircraft missile forces and aviation airfields.
The pilots acted both singly and as part of pairs and flights. In this case, the flight was carried out with the identification systems turned off. After they were detected, electronic launches of anti-aircraft guided missiles and guided missile aircraft weapons were carried out against the intruders.
In addition, the crews of the Pantsir-S air defense missile system destroyed air targets designated by high-speed target missiles.
