Union Foreign Minister Jaishankar represented India.At the time, Jaisankar lamented that confidence in the region was declining due to incidents in the South China Sea. He also stressed that there should be activities in the region in accordance with international law.He pointed to China's maritime aggression and the impact it has had on other countries. India has also stressed that it should not violate UN norms on international maritime boundaries. Jaisankar also said that the Indo-Pacific region is growing as an integrated maritime region.The conference also discussed various regional issues, including the South China Sea, the Korean Peninsula and the Rhine. Representatives from ten eastern countries, including China, also attended. India has pointed out its maritime aggression in the presence of the Chinese Prime Minister.
