Welcome to part 3 of exploring the highlights of Quebec City through postage stamps! In this (final) episode I share with you a bit about the Citadel's past: it's location atop Cape Diamond (as coined by poor Cartier, thinking it was filled with diamonds, but alas, it wasn't), and the battles that happened here that demonstrated the need for a fortress on the hill. I also have a look at a First Flight Cover from my Dad's collection -because it has the citadel stamp on it (registered mail) and others! I hope you enjoy the video!
