I spoke about this topic in Manchester at the European Turfgrass Society conference. I explained why fertiliser recommendations for turfgrass have been a longstanding challenge, and I mentioned two recent solutions that take a logical approach that bypasses conventional soil test calibration. These are the precision fertilisation approach of STERF, and the MLSN approach of ATC and PACE Turf.
